How to Assemble Cupcake Toppers
1. In order to cut the cupcake toppers neatly, you need to use a 2.25" Scallop, 2.25" Circle, or large flourish square punch.
You can get these at your local craft stores.
If you would like a recommendation on what brand to get, here are the ones I like and personally use:
EK Success Circle Punch,
EK Success Scallop Punch,
EK Success Flourish Punch
2. Flip the punch over so you can see the area that will be cut. Line up the punch in the right spot where there will be an even border all around. Now punch out your circle.
3. Turn the cupcake topper over and place a 4-Inch Lollipop Stick Lollipop in the center as shown in the picture below. Now tape in place.
If your party table is going to be against a wall, you are all done! However, if the cupcakes will be sitting in a spot where people can see them from both sides, you can punch out another cupcake topper and tape it on the opposite side.
So easy, right? You just have to get a good punch and you are all set.

Beautiful Easter Party
I absolutely LOVE the look of this party. The daisies, the umbrellas, the colors- it's so pretty and delicate. The yellow and green palette just warms you up as it reflects on the fact that Spring is right around the corner.
Nice touches, like the softly colored Easter eggs in a "nest" and the Easter egg lollipops in a basket with grass and a cute ribbon really set it off.
The Williams-Sonoma team did a great job! You can get the lollipop recipe and see a few other tips on creating a pretty Easter party on their blog, just click here.

Figure Skating Collection
I absolutely LOVE this newest collection. A lot of it has to do with the fact that I used to be a figure skater when I was younger. I couldn't get enough of it either. It was my favorite thing to do in the world.
So, as you can imagine, I was so excited to work on this party. For this particular collection, I teamed up with Audree from Petittatti. She has some amazing graphics and was a pleasure to work with.
Items in this collection include:
- 5 x 7 printable invitations
- 2.25" cupcake toppers
- cupcake wrappers
- 2.25" party favor tags
- food signs
- 3.5x5" thank you cards
- Happy Birthday sign: 5"x5" panels
- Welcome sign: 8" x 10"

Owl Birthday Invitations
Here's a look at a new collection I've been working on. Owls look so sweet on party decorations. I just had to make my own version of them. This is the girl's birthday one, but I am also making baby shower girl and boy versions as well. Look for those coming soon.

Decorating for Chirstmas
Have you put up your Christmas decorations yet? I have my tree up, but I need to get the rest of my decorations out. Here is a little inspiration for you to get your house looking festive. These are a few of my favorite decorations and party favors from HGTV's site.
Use a metallic spray paint on an inexpensive wreath to add a little glamour to your house. It will work well with your New Year's Eve party as well.
I currently have a blue and silver combination for my Christmas tree and decorations. I am looking to change it next year to the more traditional color scheme, especially now that I have a young son who's just learning about all the festivities. I love this rustic tree. It has a simple yet understated elegance about it that's just very appealing to me.
Following the same idea of simple (and neutral) elegance, the look of this living room is another great example.
Beautiful and delicious party favors = Chocolate-covered Oreos. According to HGTV, they are easier to make than they look... I sure hope so because I sure hope mine turn out like this!
These are the instructions on the site: "Simply cut a round piece of a chocolate-transfer sheet featuring a coordinating design (available at baking supply shops) to fit the bottom of a straight-edged flexible cupcake tin. Pour some melted chocolate on top and chill until set. Add an Oreo cookie, then pour more melted chocolate on top to cover the cookie. Chill until set and remove from the molds to reveal a beautiful and tasty treat."
Such a cute idea for a party favor- your very own Christmas tree!

Love the use of the traditional color scheme for this front door. Even the lighted outdoor present decorations match and will shine at night.
