As promised, the second set of Halloween cupcake toppers are up tonight.  This is the "bat set".  Tomorrow I have a post for you with 2 ways to decorate with bats, so don't miss it.  Or if you like the first set, I have an idea including candy corn that will make it taste better (I'm not a big fan of how they taste alone).

Halloween Cupcake Toppers: Set 1

I just love this time of year, as I really get into the holiday season.  Halloween is the start of it all. I'm not sure if it will be this year, because Tyler is so young, but next year I want to take him to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.   You go to Disney, after the park closes for their regular hours, dressed up in your costumes.  They have trick or treating, you can go on the rides, and a Halloween parade.  It looks like so much fun!

Speaking of fun, I really got into designing for Halloween.  I wound up making not one, but two sets of designs.  Here is the first of two.  I will have more pictures of these and the next set tomorrow.  I'm also going to get them into the shop by tomorrow.

Curtains Behind Your Bed

I love the way the curtains are behind the beds in these designs.  They remind me of this mansion I went to in West Palm Beach.  Several of their immaculate rooms had this setup in the bedrooms.  That was the first time I had seen it done.

I want curtains behind my bed now.  I didn't even think of them being put into your average house, but I think they look great.  These bedrooms were featured on House of Turquoise.

Chocolate Covered Brownie Bites

Yum!  Don't these look delicious?  I want to eat one right now.  These would be a great addition to your party's sweet table.

You can pick whatever color you want to drizzle on top to match your decorations.  They look pretty easy to make too.

The recipe is from Pillsbury's website.  Click here to get it!

Wall of Frames

This wall is great for those of us who want to display multiple pictures but don't care too much for the collage frames.  I love how the dark paint really sets off the picture frames.   It makes the whole look seem more like an art display.  I would love to do this to a shorter wall that I have in my house.  Click here to go to The House Undone to see more details.

No Paint Diamonds

This room is so pretty.  It fits my style perfectly.  Neutrals, a decorative wall, a chandelier, add a mirror, a decorative chair and even a touch of fur!

I was really surprised when I found out the diamonds on the wall are not painted on.  Seriously?  What a great idea, you can take it down if you get tired of it.

To find out how they did this, go to Nesting Place's website to see the post in full detail.  Click here.

Baby Shower Craft: Designing Onesies

At my baby shower, one of my friends throwing the shower for me bought a lot of white onesies for everyone at the party to decorate. I thought it was a cute idea to get personalized onesies from everyone.

The video below takes this idea a step further by using stencils and fabrics. What a great, easy, and fun idea! Your onsies are sure to turn out super cute using this method!

Organizing: DIY Dog Food Can

I found another great organizing idea, if you have a pet.  This is a DIY project that I found on the Tidy Mom's website.  You take one of those old Christmas popcorn bins you get at the holidays and turn it into a classy looking dog food holder.  Plus it's super easy and super inexpensive to do!  Get the full instructions by clicking here.

Craft: A House for (stuffed) Animals

How fun is this? I saw this on Disney's Family Fun site.  I thought it was such a cute idea.  Kids love crafts and now they can make a house for all of their stuffed animals.  It's not a bad way to get them organized either.  To see the instructions, click here.

The Perfect Bunk Beds

I'm not crazy about bunk beds, but I know some kids love them.  My little guy might ask for them someday.  I found these bunk beds on a site called Houzz.com.  They are by Southern Studio Interior Design.

I don't know about having a need for 4 beds instead of 2, but I really loved how the light was built in each of the beds as well as drawers on the bottom for extra storage.  These bunk beds are pretty much perfect if I need to get some in the future.

5 Ways to Decorate Pumpkins Without Carving Them

My son isn't old enough to carve pumpkins yet.  So it got me thinking about decorating them without having to carve them.  There were a lot of different ideas that I found online.  Above are pictures of my top 5 favorites.

I love glittery, shimmery things, so naturally they made the list.  Plus my decorations this year include cat and bat images.  I have been working on some graphics for my upcoming Halloween collection that I will share with all of you soon, hopefully next week.

Picture Frames + Ribbons

I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend with their family and friends!

For today's post, I saw this cute nursery on the Pottery Barn Kids website.   I thought it was really cute how the picture frames are hung by silky ribbons.  It's a nice way to dress up your plain picture frames if you need a change.  I have done this before in the past, and was considering hanging a few like this in my office (it's one of the few places where I can have girly stuff).

The bid decal is cute too, as you can have it personalized with your little one's name.  Click here to see the Georgia Nursery details.
